Roy is a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), a Level 2 CrossFit trainer, USAW level 1 Sport Performance Coach, USAW Club Coach, Eat To Perform (ETP) certified nutrition coach, Level 1 Coach in the Alexander Method of SMR (Self Myofascial Release), FMS (Functional Movement System) Professional level 1 certified, and ACLS/AED/CPR certified.  He has been an athlete his entire life.  Playing football and soccer in high school and going on to play soccer in college. He has extensive experience with edurance sports.  He has competed in numerous trail ultra-races ranging from 30 to 100 miles in length and has successfully completed many multi-day races through some of the most scenic and rugged places in North America.  After starting CrossFit in the fall of 2011 he noticed that he was becoming a better, well-rounded athlete.  In addition to athletics, Roy volunteers his time to the nonprofit "Insulindependence" mentoring and teaching type 1 diabetics how to manage their disease while living an active lifestyle. Roy firmly believes that we all have greatness inside of us, sometimes we just have to put in a little work, but it is there! He is eager to help you find it!

Laura is a Doctor of Pharmacy, CrossFit Level 1 trainer, CrossFit Mobility certified and CPR/AED certified. Laura started CrossFit after becoming frustrated with some of the at home routines out there. After trying out several programs that promised “Get ripped in no time” or “Shred fat now”; Laura became bored and turned to using a more comprehensive method of training. She now realizes how rewarding and exciting it can be to train with a barbell and other strength implements. Laura has learned the important difference between getting ‘ripped’ and being functionally strong and fit. By using training methods that CrossFit Down Valley employs, she has increased her athletic capabilities and loves being challenged everyday by the sport . Training with CrossFit has allowed Laura to see herself as an athlete for the first time. Laura is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with the Down Valley community.

Lindsey is a level 1 CrossFit Trainer, USAW level 1 sport performance coach and has been a proud member of the Eagle/Gypsum community for the last seven years. She is an avid mountaineer, musician, and athlete who discovered her true fitness potential in 2010 when she first picked up a barbell. Prior to discovering CrossFit, Lindsey did not consider herself an athlete. Over the past three years she has gone from a normal mother of two with a busy career, to a truly knowledgeable fitness coach and athlete. Bragging top three finishes at numerous fitness events including qualifying as a professional for North American Strongman, Lindsey has proven to be an elite athlete. Lindsey says CrossFit has made her a better mother and improved her quality of life. Whether you are an avid athlete preparing for your next event, trying to meet your fitness goals, or just trying to improve your health and physique, Lindsey is eager to help you find your best self and have fun while you're at it!

Rob is a level 1 CrossFit Trainer and has been involved in organized sports and fitness since a young age. Growing up in Louisville, CO gave him the opportunity to play many sports including Hockey, Lacrosse, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and Mountain Biking.  At the age of 18, Rob joined the U.S. Marine Corps and earned a degree from CU Boulder in the process. Following graduation, he returned to active duty as a Combat Engineer Officer and deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan where he discovered the true value of fitness. Rob returned seeking a new way to train the human body to prepare for the rigors of combat operations and found it through “functional fitness.” Rob believes to be a strong, fast, agile, and a generally well rounded athlete, we must train our bodies throughout the whole spectrum of fitness. At CrossFit Down Valley, Rob will help you achieve your fitness goals, whether you hope to compete in a weight lifting competition, complete your first 10k, or have legs of steel for the next great Colorado ski season.
